The dBm Optics new Passive Component Spectrum Analyser (CSA) operates with any tunable laser source to measure >67dB dynamic range at 100,000 readings per second per channel.

Over 1000 channels can be measured at one time, with a total dynamic range of >105dB and wavelength accuracy of <5pm allows wide performance testing. The CSA is designed to measure optical switches, mux, demux, filters, interleavers, and DWDM subsystems.

An OEM solution is needed to monitor laser performance in the system, and possibly to provide fast feedback for system control.Depending on your application various configuration can be used:

• Just a sensor with raw analog output
• Sensor with electronic providing an amplified or digital output
• Complet instrument including numeric display and/or PC interface
